DESCRIPTION
Chambray is a plain-weave fabric typically made from 100% Cotton. It is characterized by its unique "mottled" or "salted" appearance, achieved by using colored yarns (usually indigo or blue) for the warp and white yarns for the weft. Unlike Denim (which is a Twill weave), Chambray is a Plain Weave. This means it is lighter, more breathable, and has a smoother surface. It bridges the gap between formal and casual; it is rugged enough for workwear but refined enough for a tailored shirt.
