DESCRIPTION
Polyester Sateen is a synthetic fabric that mimics the look and feel of silk satin but is made from 100% polyester filaments. While "Satin" and "Sateen" are often used interchangeably, in technical terms, sateen often refers to a satin weave made with spun yarns or a specific weight used in linings and drapery. Using polyester makes the fabric much more durable, wrinkle-resistant, and affordable than pure silk. It is easy to wash and maintains its sheen after multiple cleanings. It has a very bright, almost metallic shine that reflects light intensely.
